People are losing life and limbs—literally—because the treatments just aren't effective enough, or they're not being used properly. I mean, in my tech background, I've seen innovation get stuck because people just don't know it exists. It's like, you can have the best solution in the world, but if no one knows about it, it might as well not exist. And that's kind of what's happening here, right?

That's spot on. The current standard of care is, honestly, letting people down. There are preventable amputations happening every day. And it's not because we don't have the tools—it's because the system is slow to adopt new, proven therapies. It's frustrating, and it's costing lives and dollars.

Admittedly, this is a selfish pursuit, but it's not just about my dad—there are other folks there who could benefit, too. As this podcast is being recorded, I am in the process of reaching out to the leadership at Life Care Centers of America (who manages Cottesmore), and, honestly, I pray for their support.

I can imagine. Introducing new tech in healthcare is never straightforward. There's always that initial resistance, right?

It often takes months—meetings, forms, you name it for these care options to be implemented. I am hoping to expedite the decision process and pilot program so that my dad can benefit from it now.

And that's why public awareness is so important. First we need to educate the team at Cottesmore about Vaporox and get their support for a limited pilot. I pray that their leadership becomes advocates for this treatment and, as leaders, can eliminate the typical barriers faced by this type of treatment being introduced and becoming mainstream.

So, what do we do to break through these barriers? It seems to boil down to proving the efficacy of the treatment and creating trust. For Cottesmore and Life Care Centers, the proposed pilot should do this.

I have written a letter to the ownership at Life Care Centers requesting support and approval for a Vaporox pilot. Because to be frank, without this care, my dad's life and limbs are at risk. That is why I am paying attention to this, believing it is the best possible treatment for my father. My purpose is to get this treatment option for my dad without being too concerned about traditional processes or barriers to entry.

I have also written to President Trump and RFK Junior about this treatment option, but I am in no position to tackle the issue globally. That said, I do have faith that I can get Vaporox, Dr. McAlexander, and Cottesmore to support a pilot program that results in my father being treated and cured.
